Secretariat National
The Advisory Board consists of representatives from member organizations, with an odd number of members and a maximum of seven. Members are elected and confirmed during the General Assembly Meeting of the National Coalition PWYP Indonesia. The Advisory Board is led by a Chair (who also serves as a member) and a Secretary (who also serves as a member), together with up to five additional members, and operates on a collegial and collective basis. Membership can be adjusted when considered important and urgent by the coalition.
Decision-making within the Advisory Board prioritizes consensus. When consensus cannot be reached, decisions may be taken through voting. If there are dissenting opinions or differing arguments during the decision-making process, these may be formally communicated to the broader membership.
As stipulated in Article 23 of the Statute of PWYP Indonesia, the functions, duties, and authorities of the Advisory Board are as follows.

Function
Serve as a bridge between coalition members and the National Coordinator.
Duties
- Convene and conduct the General Assembly Meeting together with the National Coordinator.
- Monitor the implementation of resolutions and decisions from the General Assembly Meeting.
- Monitor the implementation of the Statute and its implementing regulations.
- Verify prospective members and confirm membership status.
- Oversee the routine activities of the National Coordinator, including advocacy, campaigning, research, education, and fundraising.
- Prepare and submit written reports on Advisory Board work to the General Assembly Meeting.
- Communicate monitoring results to members on a regular basis, using formal and informal channels.
- Approve and/or determine partners and observers of the coalition.
Authorities
- Discuss, approve, or reject the work plan and annual budget prepared and proposed by the National Coordinator.
- Request clarification from the National Coordinator regarding the distribution of information and knowledge to members.
- Establish coalition protocols together with the National Coordinator.
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for secretariat operations.
- Receive and formally acknowledge the resignation of the National Coordinator if it occurs before a General Assembly Meeting, and appoint a successor.
- Appoint an interim National Coordinator if the incumbent coordinator is found to have violated the Statute or other organizational regulations.
